A New Home, A New Life
Ms. Lewis had hit rock-bottom. Depression, drug addiction, a DUI—and then a miscarriage. After a six-month stay in a homeless shelter, Ms. Lewis had proved to her caseworker that she was serious about making a change. And at age 36, she was led to Quest.
Now, for three years, this Quest resident has been free from drugs and alcohol, fear and frustration. And she has spent this time becoming a certified peer counselor who is working to help others—including her Quest neighbors—break free, as well.
“Quest marks a second chance for me. Quest took me in with acceptance and without judgement. My life is no longer about losing things over and over. It’s about supporting myself and supporting others. It’s a new life.”
For some, an affordable place to call home is all they require to create stability in their lives. Others need specific supportive services and assistance with managing their SSI, VA, and other benefits. No matter the need, we help all of our residents & clients safely thrive in the communities they love.
