From Dream to Reality: How temporary housing helped a resident overcome adversity and find purpose

Ms. Martin had been homeless for over a year. Quest provided temporary housing and helped her acquire three jobs—a CNA in a nursing facility, private sitting for a family, and at a laundromat. During her stay in Quest, Ms. Martin worked cooperatively with her assigned case manager and participated in therapy with CHRIS 180.

Ms. Martin was able to save over $1,000 by implementing budgeting skills she received from her case manager and On the Rise Financial Center.

Ms. Martin successfully completed one year at Quest and rented a townhouse that she dreamed of moving into when she was homeless. We're happy that Ms. Martin went from being homeless to self-sufficient within 12 months with the help of Quest and our partners!
