At Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC), our commitment to building strong, resilient communities goes beyond housing and supportive services. It also means ensuring our staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond in critical moments.
Last week, the QuestCDC team participated in an engaging and hands-on CPR and First Aid Training, led by Instructor Evans Pollard of Emergency Response Training & Support Services.
The training provided team members with practical lifesaving techniques—from performing CPR and using an AED to administering first aid for common injuries and medical emergencies. These skills are not only vital in the workplace but also empower our staff to be prepared and confident in the community, where emergencies can arise at any moment.
“Preparedness is part of community care,” said Melissa Tyson - our director of supportive services, following the session. “Knowing how to respond in those critical first minutes can save lives, and that’s something we take seriously.”
This training reflects QuestCDC’s ongoing investment in professional development and safety. By equipping our staff with these essential skills, we continue to advance our mission of creating resilient communities and supporting the well-being of our residents, partners, and neighbors.
We extend our gratitude to Emergency Response Training & Support Services and Instructor Evans Pollard for providing such a valuable and impactful session.

At QuestCDC, we believe that safety and care start with preparation—and we’re proud to have a team ready to serve not only with compassion, but with the skills to act when it matters most.
