November was a month filled with gratitude, connection, and heartfelt appreciation for the Veterans who call Quest home. Our Case Managers, Janet Edwards and Tamekia Shumpert, led the way in creating meaningful moments that honored the service, sacrifice, and strength of the men and women who have served our country.
To kick off Veterans Month, Janet and Tamekia hosted a special Veterans Day celebration featuring a hearty, home-cooked-style meal of burgers and all the fixings, generously provided by Key Catering. The gathering brought residents together for food, fellowship, and a reminder that their service is deeply valued. Each Veteran also received practical support in the form of hygiene kits, socks, laundry totes, and tumblers—small gifts with a big impact on daily comfort and dignity.
Adding an extraordinary highlight to the month, Case Manager Janet Edwards welcomed TJFACT to Quest for the second consecutive year. Their continued partnership brought an atmosphere of joy and appreciation as Veterans enjoyed meals, music, and uplifting fellowship. In the spirit of giving, each Veteran received a full set of groceries, including a turkey, stuffing, canned goods, rolls, and dessert—everything needed for a warm and abundant holiday meal.
The gentlemen were also surprised with cold-weather clothing accessories to help them stay warm and prepared throughout the winter.
November at Quest was more than a month of events—it was a powerful reflection of our commitment to honoring those who have served. We extend our deepest appreciation to our Veterans, our dedicated Case Managers, and partners like TJFACT and Key Catering for making this month one of meaningful celebration and heartfelt community.
