On September 25, 2025, Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC) hosted its inspiring event, “Quest for Recovery: One Community. One Journey. One Quest,” in honor of National Recovery Month. Held at the Transitional Housing parking lot in Atlanta’s Westside, the event brought together residents, community partners, and supporters to celebrate the resilience and strength of individuals on their recovery journeys.

National Recovery Month is a time to recognize the importance of hope, healing, and community support in the lives of those recovering from substance use and mental health challenges. At QuestCDC, recovery has always been central to the mission, providing housing, supportive services, and partnerships that empower residents to reclaim their independence and thrive.

The day was filled with energy and connection, featuring a live DJ, food and refreshments, health screenings from the HIV bus, and engagement with local substance use treatment and detox agencies. Most powerfully, attendees heard stories of resilience and transformation directly from individuals in recovery, a reminder that recovery is a journey that flourishes in supportive communities.

QuestCDC’s holistic approach emphasizes stability, dignity, and comprehensive care, recognizing that safe housing is the foundation upon which recovery can truly flourish. Through collaboration with behavioral health providers, medical partners, and local organizations, the agency continues to create pathways that connect residents to the treatment, counseling, workforce development, and networks needed for lasting success.

As the event concluded, one message resonated above all: recovery is possible, and it happens when we walk the journey together.

QuestCDC remains committed to building communities where every individual has the opportunity to heal, rebuild, and thrive—turning National Recovery Month from an observance into a powerful call to action.
