In the heart of Atlanta’s Westside, The Leonard House stands as a beacon of hope for individuals seeking stability, healing, and the chance to rebuild their lives. Operated by Quest Community Development Corporation, this residence is more than just housing—it is a community rooted in compassion, recovery, and opportunity.

A Foundation of Support

The Leonard House was established to provide transitional housing for individuals experiencing homelessness, particularly those navigating recovery from substance use disorders or overcoming other life challenges. Here, residents are not defined by their past but supported in shaping a new future. The program pairs safe, stable housing with wraparound services, ensuring that participants have access to case management, peer support, healthcare connections, and pathways to employment.

Recovery at the Center

What sets The Leonard House apart is its holistic approach to recovery. Staff and partners recognize that recovery is not only about overcoming addiction but also about addressing the root causes of instability—such as poverty, lack of healthcare, or estrangement from family and community. Residents are encouraged to set personal goals and are guided step by step through the journey of healing, accountability, and empowerment.

Growth Through Community

Life at The Leonard House is intentionally built around community. Residents learn to support one another, celebrate progress, and overcome setbacks together. Group activities, skill-building workshops, and communal living foster an environment where individuals can grow in confidence and resilience. This sense of belonging often becomes the turning point for residents who have long felt isolated or forgotten.

New Beginnings Made Possible

Every success story at The Leonard House demonstrates the power of second chances. For some, it’s securing stable employment and moving into permanent housing. For others, it’s reconnecting with loved ones or achieving milestones in their recovery journey. Each new beginning reinforces the mission of QuestCDC: to help people realize their full potential, regardless of the challenges they’ve faced.

Looking Ahead

The Leonard House continues to stand as a cornerstone of QuestCDC’s commitment to housing and supportive services on Atlanta’s Westside. With every resident who walks through its doors, the vision remains clear: create a place where recovery is nurtured, growth is possible, and new beginnings are within reach.

The Leonard House is not just a building—it is a testament to what happens when compassion, community, and opportunity come together. It is a place where lives are transformed, and where hope takes root for a brighter tomorrow.
