Generosity from neighbors, organizations, and colleagues helped residents access essential items and strengthened the Westside community.

ATLANTA, GA — Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC) and its Supportive Services Department extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated and contributed to the recent Community Yard Sale, an event designed to connect residents with items that support their everyday lives.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, residents were able to select from a wide range of essentials, including clothing, household goods, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and accessories. Beyond the items themselves, the event gave residents access to resources that support their daily needs, housing stability, and overall well-being.

"Every donation, contribution, and act of support played a part in making this event meaningful for our residents," said Melissa Tyson, Supportive Services Director at QuestCDC. "We truly appreciate everyone's willingness to give back and support the individuals and families we serve."

Recognizing Our Supporters

QuestCDC proudly recognizes the individuals and organizations whose generosity made the event possible: Tammi Flowers, Akilah Favors, Eddie Bradford, Olivia Nightingale, Melissa Tyson, Tamekia Shumpert, Vincent Gray, Tanya Scott, Kevondria Cager, Hilary Browne, and Elijah Browne. Thanks also go to Nu Lambda Omega's Generation Next Committee, Bagel Rescue and Erin Stieglitz, Bianca Haly, Elizabeth Haly, Tiajila Clemons, Lakesha Simon, Charles Rice, Jonathan Luckett, and Mary Watson of Mercy Care. Each of these supporters helped ensure that residents had access to items they need.

Support From Within

QuestCDC also extends a special shout-out to the departments across the organization that took time to stop by, show their support, and engage with residents throughout the event. Their presence reinforced the sense of community that is at the heart of QuestCDC's work.

Looking Ahead

The success of the Community Yard Sale reflects what is possible when neighbors, partners, and organizations come together.

QuestCDC remains committed to strengthening the community and supporting residents, and is grateful to everyone who helped make this event a difference for the families it serves.
