Quest Community Development Corporation (Quest CDC) recently hosted its annual “Taste of Black History” event, bringing together residents and staff to honor Black culture, history, and community through the shared joy of food and storytelling.

This year’s gathering featured catering from the historic Black-owned Busy Bee Cafe, a legendary Atlanta institution. Residents had the opportunity to learn about the cafe’s rich history—a place that has served the community for decades and welcomed countless influential leaders and public figures.

Beyond enjoying a meal rooted in tradition, participants gained a deeper appreciation for the legacy, resilience, and contributions of Black entrepreneurs and community leaders who continue to shape Atlanta’s story. The event highlighted the power of connection, history, and shared experiences in building stronger communities.

By celebrating both food and history, Quest CDC reinforced its commitment to fostering community engagement, honoring Black heritage, and supporting local Black-owned businesses.
