Quest Team Survivors: Standing Strong Together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

ree

Every October, Quest Community Development Corporation proudly joins the nation in recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a time to honor survivors, support those currently fighting, and remember the loved ones we’ve lost along the way.

At Quest, our strength comes from the people who make up our community. This year, we celebrate the incredible courage and resilience of our Quest Cares Team and friends who continue to inspire us all through their journeys of hope, healing, and perseverance.

“Twenty-three years of survivorship have taught me that strength isn’t about never falling — it’s about getting up, believing again, and inspiring others to keep moving forward.”

Chanita Bradley, 23-Year Survivor

“Fifteen years ago, I fought for my life. Today, I live it fully — with love, laughter, and a commitment to lifting others who are still in the fight. Hope is stronger than fear.”

Lisa Whitaker, 15-Year Survivor

“Thirteen years later, I’ve learned that faith and community make healing possible. Every day is a blessing, and I choose joy, gratitude, and purpose — one moment at a time.”

Tammi Flowers, 13-Year Survivor

A Call to Awareness and Action

Breast cancer touches families across every community. Early detection saves lives, and access to education and resources is key. During this month and beyond, we encourage everyone to:

Together, We Move Forward

The Quest family stands united in love and solidarity — for survivors, fighters, caregivers, and advocates. Because when one of us battles cancer, none of us fight alone.

This October, we wear pink with purpose — honoring every woman and man who has faced breast cancer with strength, faith, and the hope of a brighter, healthier tomorrow.
