The QuestCares team was honored to participate in this year’s Point-in-Time (PIT) Count in partnership with Partners for HOME, contributing to coordinated outreach efforts across Metro Atlanta.
Quest team members supported engagement activities at the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and the Central Outreach & Advocacy Center Day Site, connecting directly with individuals experiencing homelessness and helping ensure accurate, community-informed data collection. Both events were highly successful and reflect the strength of collaborative action in addressing one of our region’s most pressing challenges.
Why the Point-in-Time Count Matters
The annual PIT Count is a federally required census of individuals experiencing sheltered and unsheltered homelessness on a single night. Beyond compliance, it is a critical tool that:
Provides real-time data to guide housing and service investments
Identifies emerging trends among youth and adult populations
Informs local, state, and federal funding allocations
Strengthens accountability across the Continuum of Care
Data gathered through the PIT Count plays a central role in shaping policy decisions and designing responsive housing strategies — including supportive and affordable housing solutions that create pathways toward stability.
The Power of Partnership
QuestCares’ participation underscores the importance of cross-sector collaboration. By working alongside Partners for HOME, service providers, volunteers, and individuals with lived experience, we help ensure that outreach efforts are both compassionate and data-driven.
Engagement at the Youth Advisory Board site elevated youth voices, while the Central Outreach & Advocacy Center Day Site provided a critical touchpoint for adults seeking services and support. Together, these efforts reinforce a shared commitment to strengthening Atlanta’s coordinated response system.
Moving Forward
Ending homelessness requires more than data — it requires sustained partnership, community trust, and integrated services. Events like the Point-in-Time Count demonstrate what is possible when organizations align around shared goals and measurable impact.
We extend our appreciation to our partners and Quest team members for their continued dedication to this vital work. Through collaboration and service integration, we remain committed to advancing resilient communities and expanding equitable access to housing and support across Atlanta’s Westside and beyond.
