Honoring National Recovery Month — One Community, One Journey, One Quest

Updated: 3 days ago

Every September, communities across the nation come together to observe National Recovery Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about substance use recovery, celebrating the strength of individuals on their recovery journey, and recognizing the organizations and professionals who provide vital support.

At Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC), recovery is at the heart of our mission. For over two decades, we have walked alongside individuals and families facing housing instability, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders. We know that recovery is not a single destination—it is a lifelong journey that requires compassion, resources, and community.

Recovery Is Possible

National Recovery Month reminds us that every story of recovery begins with hope. Across the Westside neighborhoods of Atlanta and beyond, QuestCDC’s programs provide housing, supportive services, and access to health partners that help our residents reclaim their independence. From transitional housing to permanent supportive housing, our approach emphasizes stability, dignity, and holistic care—because safe housing is the foundation on which recovery can flourish.

A Collective Effort

Recovery does not happen in isolation. It thrives in community. QuestCDC works hand-in-hand with behavioral health providers, medical partners, and local organizations to ensure residents receive the care they need. Together, we build pathways that connect individuals to treatment, counseling, workforce development, and supportive networks that encourage lasting success.

Moving Forward with Hope

We invite you to stand with us, celebrate recovery, and continue building a community where hope is stronger than hardship.
