Atlanta, GA – June 2025 — Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC) is proud to join the national celebration of NeighborWorks Week 2025, a time dedicated to uplifting communities, expanding housing opportunities, and driving neighborhood-led change. This year’s theme, “Creating Homes, Building America” (Creando Hogares, Construyendo América), underscores the critical role of affordable housing and resilient communities in building a better future for all.
Running from June 7–14, 2025, NeighborWorks Week is a signature campaign led by NeighborWorks America and its network of nearly 250 nonprofit organizations. It’s a time for residents, community leaders, and housing advocates to come together to celebrate the power of connection, storytelling, and collective action.
QuestCDC’s Week-Long Events
Throughout the week, QuestCDC will host a series of activities in Atlanta’s Westside neighborhoods—Vine City, English Avenue, Grove Park, and West Lake—to celebrate the vibrancy of these communities and highlight the transformative work happening on the ground.
One of the signature events of the week is:
District 3: Connect with the Councilman
This special event offers residents a chance to engage directly with Atlanta City Councilmember Byron Amos, who represents District 3, home to many of QuestCDC’s housing and community development initiatives. Councilman Amos will join residents and community partners to discuss progress, listen to feedback, and celebrate shared accomplishments. This event reflects the spirit of collaborative leadership and resident-driven impact that NeighborWorks Week is all about.
Why It Matters
“NeighborWorks Week is more than a celebration—it’s a movement,” said QuestCDC's COO, Melanie Faison. “It’s about showing what’s possible when communities are empowered, supported, and connected. We’re proud to stand alongside NeighborWorks America in building a future where housing is not just a structure, but a foundation for opportunity.”

Whether through housing development, financial counseling, or resident engagement, QuestCDC remains committed to fostering equitable growth, economic mobility, and inclusive communities across Atlanta’s Westside.
