ATLANTA (Sept. 16, 2025) – Quest Cares proudly hosted its inaugural Senior Resource Fair on Tuesday, welcoming residents aged 50 and older to connect with organizations dedicated to enhancing health, wellness, and quality of life.
The fair brought together a diverse group of community partners and vendors offering information, services, and resources tailored to seniors.
Participating organizations included:
Emerald Healthcare – Home Healthcare Agency Provider
Atlanta Regional Commission
Fulton County Government Starline Services
Fulton County Voter Elections Office
Metro Atlanta YMCA
Humana Healthcare (Medicare)
Essential Insurance Benefits
MIR Home Healthcare
“This is just the beginning,” said Melissa Tyson, Quest Cares program director. “We’re committed to creating spaces where our senior residents feel supported and connected to the resources that help them thrive.”
Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives, ask questions, and explore programs that promote independent living, active lifestyles, healthcare options, and civic engagement.
“This event was designed to bring resources directly to our senior community,” said Tamekia Shumpert - Quest Cares Case Manager. “We know how important access, information, and connection are, and we are committed to ensuring our residents feel supported and informed.”
The Senior Resource Fair is part of Quest Cares’ ongoing mission to strengthen communities by addressing critical needs and providing pathways to dignity, stability, and opportunity. Plans are already underway to expand the fair in the future, offering even more resources for seniors across the community.
