Partnership Brings Integrated Healthcare to QuestCDC's Newest Affordable Housing Community
Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC) is proud to announce that Mercy Care will provide on-site health and wellness services at Heritage Village @ West Lake, further strengthening QuestCDC's commitment to delivering housing connected to the services residents need to thrive.
The announcement will be celebrated during the Heritage Village Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on August 26, 2025, marking another milestone in QuestCDC's mission to create connected communities where affordable housing and essential support services work together.
Heritage Village @ West Lake is a 102-unit affordable housing community designed to provide stable, high-quality homes while surrounding residents with coordinated resources that promote long-term health, independence, and opportunity. The addition of Mercy Care expands that vision by bringing trusted healthcare services directly into the community.
As one of Atlanta's leading Federally Qualified Health Centers, Mercy Care has spent four decades providing compassionate, whole-person healthcare to individuals and families experiencing barriers to care. Through primary medical care, behavioral health services, preventive care, care coordination, and social support, Mercy Care helps patients improve their health while building greater stability in their lives.
"Creating healthier communities requires more than quality housing," said Leonard L. Adams, Jr., President and CEO of QuestCDC. "It requires meaningful partnerships that make healthcare, supportive services, and opportunity accessible where people live. Mercy Care shares our belief that lasting community transformation happens when services are integrated—not separated."
The partnership reflects QuestCDC's integrated Community Development Model, which pairs affordable housing with coordinated health, workforce, financial empowerment, and supportive services. Rather than requiring residents to navigate multiple organizations across the city, Heritage Village is being designed as a place where critical resources are connected within the community itself.
Mercy Care's presence will help residents access healthcare earlier, manage chronic conditions, receive behavioral health support, and connect with additional community resources—all contributing to stronger individual outcomes and healthier neighborhoods.
Located in Atlanta's historic West Lake neighborhood, Heritage Village represents one of the cornerstone developments within QuestCDC's Westside Housing Trifecta initiative. The community offers 102 affordable one-bedroom apartments with supportive services, workforce development opportunities, and convenient access to transit, parks, and neighborhood amenities.
The Heritage Village Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on August 26 will celebrate not only the completion of a new affordable housing community, but the collaborative partnerships that make comprehensive community development possible.
Together, QuestCDC and Mercy Care are demonstrating that when housing and healthcare work hand in hand, communities become stronger, healthier, and more resilient.
